A transforming force for the future
The programme was born to gather people with a strong vocation for service, ready to contribute actively to a fairer, more equitable society.
Volunteers are central to the success of our projects. Their contribution does not only benefit the children: it strengthens every PBO programme and enriches the educational and social development experiences we offer to the communities.
They come from both local and international backgrounds, and give their time to:
- support children in their education;
- promote recreational and sporting activities;
- help organise events and workshops;
- assist with medical care, psychological counselling, professional training and community projects.
A culture of solidarity
The programme fosters a solidarity that reaches beyond direct services: it creates a support network centred on people’s well-being and on the strengthening of communities.
It is an engine of change, both for those who take part and for the communities alongside them. That is why volunteering remains a cornerstone of the PBO’s mission: together, change is real and lasting.
