Our mission
To transform and empower vulnerable communities through self-sustaining projects focused on education and health, so as to provide the tools they need for long-term socio-economic development.
Our purpose is to provide access to quality education, medical care, economic growth and integral development for the girls and boys of vulnerable communities in the city and province of La Romana and the surrounding areas. We do this through our flagship programme, the Hogar del Niño, which gave rise to the PBO and established an integral model of support that transforms lives and builds opportunities for the future.
Three strategic pillars
The PBO pursues and fulfils its mission through three pillars:
- Education, aimed at integral formation.
- Health, devoted to promoting, preventing and caring for physical, mental and social well-being.
- Community Assistance, focused on supporting and strengthening the vulnerable communities our students come from, without limiting its reach exclusively to them.
